About

I am primarily a drawer – graphite, pen and ink, printmaking and gouache are some of my favorite mediums. I studied art at ArtCenter of Pasadena through high school programs and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Currently I am interested in the idea of constructing organic forms made from incongruous parts. Delving into botany and anatomy, I’m visually researching the similarities between organic life forms and the human body reduced to organic systems and structures.

Some of my favorite artists include JMW Turner, Katsushika Hokusai, Whistler, Hayao Miyazaki, and Gerhard Richter.
